Enjoy the healing power of Irish music with the Shrewd Berries

The Shrewd Berries are performing at the Springfield Town Library on Saturday, March 24 at 7 p.m. The evening is free and open to the public. Families and dancing are encouraged!

Back at the library for their second year, the Shrewd Berries are Claudine Langille and Silas Hamilton. The Berries play music from the British Isles and North America in the emerging “Vermonticana” style emigrating from here in right central Vermont. Claudine Langille writes songs and tunes; sings and plays mandolin, tenor banjo, and guitar; teaches all of the above; and plays solo and in groups – Gypsy Reel, Fiddletree, and Celtic.

This program is presented as part of Springfield Wellness Week and is sponsored by the Friends of the Springfield Town Library.
